Will work for good typography
FINALLY!
It looks right in Safari and Firefox on my Mac, but could you PC folks out there (especially those of you still using IE) do me a favor and check to see if anything's wonky while you're looking around? I'd really appreciate it. I'm basically div-tarded, so this is my first time using CSS for layout (and even then I had to resort to those dreaded tables just because I couldn't figure out how to do certain things).
I picked the domain because people always seem to have trouble pronouncing my last name. "Del Ro" is the shortened version I sometimes tell people to make their lives easier. Besides, $5 says that if I had used my full last name (or, good lord, my full name) that people would get 404's trying to remember how it was spelled. I wanted "delro.com" but someone's using that to point to a Geocities page. For the love of...
The quotation marks that float in the layout are a reference to pronunciation and my love of typography. Smart quotes are your friends! I could probably collapse a lung talking about why I did certain things with the design, but I'll spare you guys (unless you really want to know).
Now that that's done, I get to... put together my physical portfolio!
Those of you that just have to update résumé's when you look for a new job should be grateful, I tell you, grateful!

There's a small problem with Firefox1.5, though. The page width goes beyond the screen width, creating a scrollbar at the bottom of the window.

Not a huge problem, though (I didn't really notice it at first) and it's a beautiful design!
You can Google "Bernard del Rosario" to see official results. Don't forget the quotation marks. It wont work without "" marks.
oh god the irony! haha... ahem.. anyways... it looks great! lovely job :) I had the same problem with the scrolly bar at the bottom though. It doesn't happen when I use IE
Fixed the horizontal scrolling issue as well. :D
