I'll be posting pictures from the Pirate Festival I hit up on Saturday (which was basically a small Renaissance Faire with bigger buttonholes and hats) tomorrow, but in the meantime I'll leave you with this...
Ladies and gentlemen, they might not qualify for the best band name ever, but I think they come pretty close...
They're a pirate-themed band that I ran across while browsing through Visunavi. I have absolutely no idea what they sound like, but I am almost entertained enough with just their names!
Captain Jack O Joestar Jr (vocal, guitar, harmonica)
North Mt. The Devil (guitar, bagpipes!)
Andiana Joestar (bass)
Lulu McCueen (mandolin, acoustic guitar)
Thomas Curlyhair (violin).
Five bucks says they sound just like any other run-of-the-mill Visual Kei band. I can say I'm digging their threads, though.
