It was the best of times, it was the worst of times
Best: $5 buffet at The Gold Club (work safe, considering it's a strip joint).
Worst: My lagging ass meant we could only hit up the buffet once before it closed.
Best: My friend treating me to drinks all night as a belated birthday gift.
Worst: I think they were serving us the crappy vodka instead of the mid/top shelf stuff we were asking for.
Best: Lap dance from Jezebelle, the first dancer I've seen with short hair.
Worst: Oh, who am I kidding... it was a lap dance, she was hot, and my friend paid for it. Yes, sir, can I have another?
Best: Being drunk by 3pm.
Worst: Being hungover by 5pm. (Crappy alcohol + not enough to eat = "I'm gonna be sick.")
Best: New Edition show at the Paramount Theater as another belated birthday gift from another friend.
Worst: Being so sick at the show that I spent a majority of it chillin' in the ladies lounge.
Best: Hearing "Can You Stand the Rain" live.
Worst: Hearing "Can You Stand the Rain" live while walking out of the theater because I was too sick to make it through the entire performance. FAIL!
Big ol' thanks to Anne Marie and Melanie for getting my ass drunk on a Friday afternoon and then dealing with me as I stumbled around downtown SF/Oakland trying to maintain some semblance of sobriety (failed at, horribly). Also thanks to Melanie for having the foresight of getting me an extra plastic bag because I sure as hell made use of it on the BART ride back to my side of the Bay. Ugh. I'm at 100% now, so I better go get ready so I can head over to Judy and AJ's to make me a corset!

or was this for R&D for Dave's bachelor party?
